Campamento Cural was built in 60's as a cowboys homestead. Today, the camp has been adapted to lodge researchers and scientific expeditions, and is strategically located within walking distance of secondary and primary forests ideal for studying different taxonomic groups.

The camp is designed to accommodate groups of up to 15 researchers, accompanied by a local guide and cook.
